Six months from now, we have the shortest Day of Light, the Winter Solstice at 21st. December, as the transit Sun enters Capricorn, the polar opposite sign to Cancer.

In Celtic Britain the event of the Summer Solstice was celebrated by the gathering of the Court of King Arthur with all the Knights of the Round Table and their Ladies. It was a joyful occasion.
In Scandinavia we do our version of this celebration, as we eat, drink and dance around a gaily decorated pole full of coloured ribbons.
This year, I was in USA, Miami to be precise, where I gathered together with friends to celebrate this memorable event. America or its Independence from Britian in 1776 occurs soon after, National Day the 4th. July, which makes the nation born in the zodiac sign of Cancer. The significance of this I shall return to as this Summer Newsletter unfolds. As I write this in the sign of Leo, you can probably hear my lion’s roar from my office desk!

The Cancerian theme of Motherhood
In my daily capacity as Consultant Astrologer I met mature women who are undergoing a crises around the theme of becoming a mother for the first time when they reach their early 40s. They have been pressurized by society and their families to fulfil their feminine function to reproduce the human species before the start of their fourties, and thereby feel a sense of completion or experience lots of self-doubt and failure if they do not achieve this goal.
Where is it written that we should become a mother in our early 30s? Who writes or who believes in such programs?
When I was in America a friend did give birth to her first child in her 46th year and she was blessed and I was fortunate to see the little-big miracle! Her horoscope had always presented the prospect of having a child during the latter part of her life (Saturn in 5th. House sign of Cancer) so my consultation work in the years leading up to this event, had always emphasized first, it is question of consciousness, and second, place attention upon co-creation with a partner first and a possible family second.
Medical authorities always emphasize the increased potential danger of miscarriage or other difficulties surrounding the birth for women of this mature age. The focus becomes one of fear.
Once again I repeat, it is primarily a matter of consciousness and not just focus upon the physical apparatus. Over the many years of daily work, I have experienced many women in their mid-40s having their first child.
In February this year, 2023, a 55 year old Brazilian actress created a media sensation by giving birth. So not mid-40s, but mid-50s giving birth. Beneath all the publicity was the fact that our time-line was being extended.
A few years ago a 70-year old Indian woman gave birth – yes, you read that correct, she was 70 years old. She died three years after giving birth due to cancer. But she gave birth in her 70th year – isn’t that amazing!
As an astrologer I wish I could gain access to her birth information for research purposes! So when you are exposed to such examples, then it is easier to accept the Bible story of Sarah, wife to Abraham, giving birth at an extremely late age. Remember that story?
Sarai or Sarah
Originally named Sarai, she was the wife of Abraham, who was originally named Abram. They lived in Ur, an ancient city in present day Iraq. They got married before leaving for Canaan after following God’s command. The interesting point for us today is that she was barren yet beautiful. Being childless for many years, the aging Sarai had lost hope of becoming pregnant.
Having a child was important for Abraham because the Lord promised him that his children would lead great nations.
Chronicled in her story are her long ordeal with Hagar, a woman who became Abraham’s concubine and gave birth to a son, Ishmael, when Abraham was 80 years old. Sarah laughed after learning about God’s prophecy of her giving birth to a son that would be named Isaac.
Yet Jewish tradition describes Sarah as the guardian & instructor of women. She became the seed and vessel of love that gave birth to an entire nation. Sarah is considered the Matriach of the Jewish peoples, just as Abraham is the Patriach.
The story unfolds in various magical ways. First, there is a change of names, which, as any numerologist will tell you, changes the energy dynamic in the life and stimulates new opportunities. Sarai now becomes Sarah and Abram becomes Abraham. There is much concealed wisdom in this name change.
Secondly, under Sarah, the classic Hebrew text, The Zohar informs us that she instructed women in various rituals, especially elements of holiness and keeping Shabbat. She was the first maker of sacrametal bread (challah) & was responsible for the lighting of the Shabbat candles. The New Moon was observed for the first time as the timekeeper of the Israelites’ lives. The Moon, the archetype of nurturing and motherhood, has a major role to play in the development of all forms and in astrological terms is a key factor to timing. A New Moon symbolizes new seed & new beginnings.
In Jewish tradition there are 7 Prophetesses, yet Sarah is the only one to whom God spoke directly. If you are better acquanited with the Kabbalah then Sarah corresponds to Sphere 4 on the Tree of Life, Chesed, Loving kindness & generousity. This Sphere is liked to the planet Jupiter.
Sarah conceives Isaac on the start of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. This gives us clues as to why the holiday Rosh Hashanah and the monthly festival of the New Moon are represented by Sarah.
Tradition declares that Sarah was 89 years old when she conceived Isaac, 90 when she gave birth to him and 127 years old when she died.
Her life reflects the story of the root of creation, the seed of Israel. It is the story of the first mother of Israel. Isaac became the father of Jacob, later renamed as Israel by God. Her entire life is a testament to the presence of the Creator’s Loving-Kindness. Sarah is the first holder of the holy lamp. Lighting the Sabbath candles can be compared to lighting the flame of love in our heart. The light in us and on the Sabbath table represets the eternal covenant between God and His created Beings. Sarah is the first holder of the eternal flame now prominent in every Jewish synagogue in the world.
Guiness Book of Records
We have just been reflecting on the time factor for motherhood, so now let’s explore the Guiness Book of Records for the greatest officially recorded number of children born to one mother – and believe it or not, it is 69!
This was recorded to the wife of Teodor Vassiyew, between 1707 and 1782.
She was a peasant from Russia who gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, 7 sets of triplets and 4 sets of quadruplets – incredibly fertile and amazing indeed!
The Mother Continent of Africa
We have identified the fertility of Motherhood with the principle of the Moon and the zodiac sign of Cancer.
If we make a jump and go back in time to the start of humanity, to where it all began, then do you not find it very appropriate that acheology & anthropoly state very clearly that DNA analysis reveals that we all originated from the continent of Africa and then migrated to all other parts of the world. This is particularly fascinating when you know that Africa has always been linked to the astrological sign of Cancer, the original MotherLand. And fossil experts that research modern man’s origins have shown us that the oldest human skeleton remains have been dated to 5 million years ago in Africa, Tanzania to be exact. This is the cradle or womb for Homo Sapiens. There have been found Homo erectus, when we moved as we do today on two legs, all over Europe, Asia and Africa, yet genetic research shows that it was from Africa, approximately 50,000 years ago, that it spread out all over the planet.
One race, one humanity, yet multiple tribes, called English, Danish, American, Japanese, African, Arab, Austrailian, Indian, Chinese etc.
The personality always seeks to emphasize differences, yet the Soul places focus upon what we have in common. Ultimately we are moving towards a celebration of unity in diversity.
The 4th July 1776 establishment of the USA – Sun in Cancer
The Cancerian Sun is positioned in the 8th House of “Transformation, Death & Rebirth and shared resources”. This area is traditionally governed by the sign Scorpio and the planet Pluto.
Many writers have produced articles about the USA horoscope, especially with the current return of slow-moving Pluto to it’s natal placement at the end of Capricorn, through 2022-2023. Pluto occupies the 2nd House of “Personal use of resources, economy”. This process continues to dominate the news with regard to various financial crises around debt and continual military aid to Ukraine, the use & abuse of power, the Trump indictments etc. Pluto governs the 12th. House cusp of “Secrets & Mysteries”, and it is this aspect with the Lord of the Underworld that has recently revealed a major transformation.
There have been two official government Hearings in the USA around what they classify as “UAPs” or unidentifdied ariel pheomena, and what you & I continue to call UFOs. (unidentified flying objects).The last Hearing took place near the end of July where US Lawmakers have been calling for more transparency and accountability on “flying objects”. We were informed that currently there were 650 examples of UAPs to consider, and that the government has in its possession both intact space aircraft not of Earth origin – plus bodes of ETs or Extra Terrestrials.
This is truly an amazing about-time confession that the USA government has been conducting a policy of self-denial and cover-up for decades, and that these statements declare the government recognizes the reality of other worldly visitors to our planet. The Pentagon now admits 80 years of denial.
The American government is however, not the first, as France has recently opened up for its UFO files to the public. The organisation “Geipan” concluded that out of 400 incidents, 28% couldn’t be explained. And then there is Israel and a high-ranking General for the “Israel Space Security Level” who has publicly declared that aliens exist but that humanity is not ready. Well, a few years ago the ex-Canadian Defence Minister, Paul Hellyer publicly declared on TV that governments on Earth were in contact with various Space Peoples and that cooperation was the key.
The Plutonian “fall-out” from these revelations has only just begun! The next revelation will probably show us the extent that several goverments, not only the USA, but Great Britain, France, Israel, China and Russia, have been dialoguing with various Space Races for years, exchanging Earth resources for advanced technology. Try to understand the impact that this will have upon our future as one Humanity joining the Galactic Federation which already exists.
2025 & the USA horoscope
Those of you who are regular readers of my Newsletters will know that I have been promoting greater awareness of 2025 as a major milestone in our planet’s evolution and destiny. The three transpersonal planets all change sign and all within a few months of each other. We know from historical periods that when Uranus, Neptune or Pluto change sign, this always corresponds with powerful collective events – but we have never experienced all 3 transpersonal planets doing this within a short period. Pluto leaves Capricorn and enters Aquarius, Uranus leaves Taurus and enters Gemini for the next 7 years, and Neptune leaves Pisces and enters Aries for the next 14 years. This is a phenomenal level of intensity and probably some form of divine intervention as we need to get back on track and not derail ourselves.
When considering the USA horoscope, please note that the bottom or the foundation of the chart, the 4th House cusp, is located at 2-degrees Aries.
Who can prophecy what takes place when not only does Neptune move over this highly sensitive angle in June 2025, but it is joined by transit Saturn doing the same and forming a series of conjunctions with Neptune in these early degrees of Aries right through to February 2026. Two very different orders of reality meet and will probably take the carpet right up for the American peoples.What we are beginning to experience now, in 2023, is just the start of these future upheavals and revelations. A future shock is coming and our reality will be both challenged and expanded. For some this is what the Aquarian vibration is all about – and for others, it will be a collapse of their material reality and a possible nightmare.

ALCHEMY: Cancer ruled by THE MOON & Leo ruled by THE SUN
There is always a special opportunity for achieving an upgrading of your male-female balance when the transit Sun passes through the signs Cancer & Leo.
When we arrive in the late summer sign of Virgo, it is the harvest time, when we “reap what we have sown”.
The Hottest Days/Weeks on planet Earth recorded July 2023
Yes, it has been hot-hot in July, with temperatures in the late 30s & early 40s Centigrade or over 100 F. far exceeding the normal measurements. In the UK it was announced that the month of June was the hottest on record – but soon after the month of July exceeded that. Record after record have been broken during this heat-wave. The average global air temperature recorded 2 metres above the Earth’s surface was around18 degrees C (63 degrees F) on 4th July, the highest that has been ever recorded. The previous record was set the day before. Since then, temperatures have continued to increase throughout the month of July. On the island of Sardinia temperatures were 48 degrees C, about the same for Las Vegas. In Sabao, China, the Xinjiang province, recorded its hottest day in its history with a 52 C.
I was for 2 weeks in tropical Miami during June and it was extremely humid with a high of around 33 C most days. When I left the temperature rose to 35+ C. All over the Mediterranean basin, Middle East, Asia & America the media has been relentless presenting these “dangerous” climate change conditions. Thousands have been evacuated from Rhodes & other Greek islands as a result of wild fires breaking out.
Now although I am a “sun worshipper”, I have often been in Egypt during the summer time when temperatures can reach a 50 C high. The authorities never want to announce these temperatures because it alarms tourists who tend to stay away from visiting Egypt – but these high temperatures happen. It is a different kind of dry desert heat that blows off the sands, yet with appropriate precautions, drinking lots of water, protecting one’s head and moving in-&-out of more shaded areas, yet not physically over-extending oneself, one can navigate through such heat-waves.
Here are two images recorded for weather forecasting on the same German TV Channel for 2017 and 2022.
Look at the temperatures and the land mass recorded in green, a colour normally used for giving out a message of calm for such high temperatures in a previous year – then see the next picture with the same land mass of Germany and Europe now recorded in red colour to illustrate alarming high temperature.
One can be quickly be seduced by manipulative messages of visual communication. The challenge for us all is to rise above such fear-promoting information – don’t let yourself be manipulated by such fear tactics.
Saturn: Lord of Time
The planet Saturn represents boundaries, a kind of Berlin Wall, or as Theosophists would say, a “ring-pass-not”. In Greek mythology Saturn, the old one, is Kronus who devours his children, which is a symbolic way of pointing out that all created forms are subject to time. Saturn is therefore the Lord of Time.
For every generation before ours, the first concerns were, “Can I grow old? Will my baby reach a ripe old age?” But now the shift has taken place and we ask: “Do we have to grow old so sadly? Before we go, do we have to lose most of the natural gifts that make life worth living?”
We are the first people in human history for whom this is a primary concern.
Age is a matter of consciousness, and when we learn to let-go of “old age”, we will go on and on……A year makes no difference in our thought structure until we say that one year has passed. Then we immediately qualify it with one year older – whereas if we would think of it as a year of greater achievement and realization, a year of greater illumination and greater understanding – it would be just that!
So it might be wonderful to extend your life expectancy – but not if society doesn’t change its basic prejudice about aging.
Our societies are not “user-friendly” for older people. The old are basically stigmatized as infirm in mind and body.
Most families that I talk to see their aging relatives as a burden. Apart from their continuing role as consumers, the idea that old people have anything useful to contribute to society is seldom entertained. Aging represents failure in our society, so each of us looks ahead and sees inevitable failure. This is largely because we identify only with things that change, like our bodies and we don’t have a perspective that can free us from our anxiety about aging. In aging our minds are often permeated by memories of the past or worries about the future. What gets missed is inevitably the present – and right there in the moment is the doorway into timelessness.
We are not a wisdom society – we are a knowledge society, we worship information and are daily saturated by increasing data bombardment. Yet knowledge becomes outdated very quickly – and therefore old people become obsolete.
Making a Friend of Time
Medical scientists are now saying that in the near future it will be normal to live to 125 years and beyond. If you don’t your children may, largely thanks to scientists looking for longevity genes. The best use of time is to connect with our authentic being. I sincerely hope you don’t use expressions such as “killing time”, or “…let’s waste some time…”
As you get older you will come to realize that how you use the time available to you in this incarnation is a question of self-awareness. Imagine if you knew when you would die – how would that influence your choices of what to use your remaining time upon? What would you make a priority?
Well, understand that what you choose to spend your time upon is also a statement of your consciousness. If it’s important, then you will make time for it.
There is an art to TIME MANAGEMENT, it’s called the ART OF LIVING.
This is the reason why I constantly say to my clients, MAKE A FRIEND OF TIME.
Time is something we Astrologers specialize in. We can look back towards your childhood and the birth itself, and we can look forward into 5, 10 or 30 years ahead. We can also look back to the pre-natal state before you were born.
Gestation is never talked about in astrology – why? There is only one astrologer who has ever truly addressed this issue, the American Tad Mann, who is still alive in his late 70s living outside of New York city. His writings, “Life-Time Astrology” is unique – which is why I had his book translated into Danish and invited him to be part of my School during the mid-1980s to teach Scandinavians this process.
Life-Time Astrology is like a play with 3 Acts – Gestation, Childhood then Maturity. The first stage of Gestation is the drama that is happening inside the mother and her viewpoint. At birth you come onto the stage. As you age through Maturity you choose to play center stage. It is a most fascinating & original investigation into time and you would be well rewarded to read Tad Mann’s presentation.
Time is plastic – we can shape it according to our consciousness. There is linear masculine time and there is cyclic awareness which is feminine. Our goal is experience both, and yet to transcend them by living in timelessness or the experience of multi-dimensionality.
Moon & Saturn: Lords of Time
The Moon governs the physical birth or the spiritual death. Saturn governs the physical death and the spiritual birth. These two planets are the planetary Rulers of the two Solstice points of the year, the longest day with extended light as the transit Sun enters the summer sign of Cancer, and the shortest day of the year when the transit Sun enters the winter sign of Capricorn.
Traditionally both Saturn and the Moon are termed “cold” planets, and are the same expression on two different scales of Time. For example, we know that Saturn represented for the ancient world the slowest of the planets, while the Moon was the fastest. The Moon travels 2½ days through one sign of the Zodiac, while transit Saturn travels one sign in 2½ years.
For practising astrologers transit Saturn is the Great Timer, chronicling changes in the outer structures of your life, while the progressed Moon, travelling approximately 1-degree each month, measures the emotional changes in your inner life, letting you know how you can best get your emotional needs met at different life stages.
In Kabbalistic Teachings this is expressed by the fact that Saturn represents the higher Trinity on the Tree of Life, the Spheres 1, 2 and 3. Early Kabbalists did not know or work with the Transpersonal planets, so it was Saturn corresponding to Sphere 3: Binah (Understanding) that was representative of the Higher Worlds. What this means is that Saturn controls the journey of the planets through the Zodiac in relation to the Sun. This is a most profound observation, worthy of your reflection. This can also be grasped through the metaphor of the center (Sun) and its circumference (Saturn).
As the seventh planet, Saturn became identified with the vibration 7.
We can also use the symbolism of 7 to depict the Temple or House that we are creating. The 3 or Spirit levels are invisible, whereas the 4 or Matter level is visible. And we can draw this as a House, with the roof representing by the triangle and the rest of the building represented by the square. So the triangle reveals spirit and the square the human. To realize such a union is the main purpose of our evolution. This process is embraced within the work of the Seven Creative Days and our 7 Chakra system and the 7 levels or dimensions of energy.
All the principal religions and schools of spiritual development embody in their teachings & symbology the fundamental principle of the number vibration 7.
7-Year Cycle - Exercise
There are some practical exercises for you to do in the following pages, and one of them revolves around the 7-Year Cycle. Each year in a 7-Year Cycle has meaning and significance. Your age at your last birthday determines where you are in this unfoldment process. Locate where you are in this sequence.
We start the first year of a new 7-Year Cycle when we have reached the age: 7,14, 21,28,35,42,49,56,63,70,77 etc.
Enjoy your research into the vibration 7. This is self-discovery about time. Astrology is about TIME – but this is not reflected in astrological education.
To explore the further implications of this is unfortunately, not the goal of this Newsletter, but now I have pointed your awareness in this direction.
Learn better how to make a FRIEND OF TIME. In doing so your acceptance of life improves, so too your deeper trust in life. Then you are better equipped to experience timelessness and multi-dimensionality. And that leads you towards enlightenment.

Lord of the Rings
The rings of Saturn evoke deep mystery. There has been compelling evidence in recent years that confounds scientists. For example, one report showed that Saturn’s most distant “F” ring was twice as bright and three times as wide between 2004 and 2009 than during the previous Voyager fly-bys in the early 1980s. The great mystery of Saturn’s rings is how they formed and why they are so stable. Orbital dynamics of this kind should gradually spiral into the planet and disappear. Instead, they are highly complex and stable and contain other structures such as spokes & braids – and nobody knows why!
Saturn is so huge, so imagine it is 95 times larger than our Earth, and that it could encompass 764 Earths. So the rings of Saturn also occupy a vast space, and these rings look a bit like a CD or DVD. Part of recent scientific revelation is that there are photographs of what one observer described as “cylindrical electromagnetic vehicles” of immense size, 2-3 times bigger than Earth that could be clearly seen inside the rings. This is quite a revelation and one could speculate further that these intelligent vehicles are largely responsible for the changing variations of the rings, so they could be called “the ring-makers”. And what is their purpose? Ahhh… that is indeed the question to ask.
The rings or circular patterns embedded in trees as well as geological rock formations can be used to date past events, each layer corresponding to a historical time period. That is specifically a Saturnian correspondence, as this planet is linked to time. One thing is for sure, just like a CD or DVD, the rings of Saturn are broadcasting waveform information at different levels of reality.
In my daily work as a professional Astrologer I recognize the important correspondence between the planet Saturn and skin (our outermost layer of protection) and bones (our skeleton structure that organizes our existence). Saturn is therefore linked to the ear-drum, skin stretched over the bone to receive sound vibrations - and therefore our sense of hearing. This sense has the longest period of evolution behind it and is the last sense to fade away with physical death. If you ask any professional sound engineer, working with music and sound technology, they would point out that the ring is definitely a manifestation of sound. And that sound of varying frequency will transform into geometrical patterns. As the frequency changes the more complex the patterns.
What will you now make of the phenomena of a monster storm at Saturn’s North Pole which takes the form of a “Hexagon” (6-sided figure) big enough to encompass 4 Earths – and there’s another storm pattern at the South Pole that looks like a giant “Eye”! These polar storms are standing waves & are permanent in the sense they have been there since they were first discovered decades ago. Nothing similar with such a regular geometry has ever been on any planet in the Solar System. Mainstream science will never understand what Saturn is because there are too many no-go areas.
NASA announced in 2016 that the Saturn Hexagon had changed colour from blue to gold over the previous four years. Colours are different frequencies and changes in Saturn’s frequency patterns will affect the colour or light that we register with our eyes. Sound and frequency are the foundation of everything within our reality.
Remember what Einstein said: “Concerning matter, we have been all wrong. What we have called matter is really energy, whose vibration has been lowered to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter. There is only light and sound.”
Ecclesiastes 3: 2-8
“To everything there is a Season
And a time for every purpose under the Heaven;
A time to be born and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which
has been planted.
A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to breakdown and a time to build up.
A time to weep and a time to laugh.
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
A time to cast away stones and a time to gather
stones together.
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing.
A time to get and a time to lose;
A time to rend and a time to sew,
A time to keep silence and a time to speak;
A time to love, a time to hate;
A time of war and a time of peace.”
This wonderful Bible quote from Ecclesiastes is normally read as a poem, allowing its rich imagery to fertilize our consciousness. In the mid 1960s the American pop group, The Byrds, recorded “Turn, Turn, Turn”, a song entirely adapted from Ecclesiastes, with the exception of the last line: “I swear peace it’s not too late….”
The Byrds version that came out October 1965 distinguishes the song as the number 1 pop hit with the oldest lyrics dating back to the Bible.
To the observant eye, there are in fact 28 references producing two rows of 14 quotes and their opposite.
The author of the text (possibly King Solomon) was clearly aware of the Moon cycle and its 28-day cycle around the zodiac – and was clearly aware that every Moon cycle is divided into two distinct phases, 14 days of waxing (light on the increase) and 14 days of waning (light decreasing).
Here it is again, and perhaps this time we read it , we might also register it as a Prayer honouring the changing phases of the Moon.
People in the Old Testament Bible living to ripe old age
Continuing our Biblical theme, let us make a brief survey of age in the first Book of the Christian Bible, Genesis where it states:
“And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years – and he died.” Genesis 5:5
Now of course you might say that this is purely symbolic, but people’s life span before the Flood was much longer, many living over 900 years. Methuselah was the oldest man ever recorded in the Bible and he lived to be 969 years old. It was after the Flood that God said He would shorten man’s days upon the Earth. Consider this Table of Lifespans from Adam to Noah:

How old will you be when you die?
While conventional Christian thought considers that one lifetime determines your destiny for all eternity, the spiritual movement of Theosophy declares that one life is equivalent to one day in the life of the soul.
If we consider that you are I have on average about 30,000 days to live, how are you using your allotted time?
Time is the most precious of all things to those who seek to accomplish, to create, to prepare today for better achievement tomorrow. Recognise that the course of human events has been profoundly affected by men & women who made good use of their time.
Yet here is the question: How old will you be when you die?
Observe the first number that comes into your mind – the very first – before you have time to think about it or make some rational calculations.
Was it less than 50, 60 or 70, perhaps 84 or even 90? Let’s say a person of 37 years came up with the figure of 56 – what might this mean? A variety of interpretations – but the main thing this example shows is an unconscious assumption about that person’s lifespan which may be subtly influencing most of that person’s thought and behaviour, even to the point of cellular functioning and physiological health.
For some reason this person has the idea buried deeply in the mind that they will die when they reach the age 56. Perhaps a parent or grandparents died at that age, or perhaps they have an image of “old age” that says it basically begins around 50 years.
The importance of all of this for you should be obvious. The fear of death & dying is to such a large extent LEARNED. It is in great part a socially-conditioned emotional response which we pick up at such a young age that we assume it to be part of “reality”.
Saturn as we know, rules time. This helps explain why the Chinese word for both “clock” and “death” is “Zhong” – it is exactly the same.
It is also very revealing to study the follow-up research of people who have had a NDE (Near Death Experience) and who consequently lost their fear of death. One interesting discovery is that a significant percentage of these individuals are no longer able to wear a watch i.e. their watch will not keep “correct” time. As my family knows, I always wear my watch on the right arm and not the left which is normal tradition for men. I must have got through more than a dozen watches because each time it was attached to my left arm, the time slowed down and it was never the “correct” time.
Time is not a straight line, with the past at one end, the present in the middle and the future at the opposite end. It is a circle.
The PRESENT moment is always filled with infinite treasures.
So returning to our question – How old will I be when I die?
The Hindus assert that longevity is directly related to the nature & strength of past life Karma – and therefore one literally cannot die until this karma has been fully exhausted through experience.
The LIFE thread, connecting us to the Higher Worlds is anchored in the HEART, while the CONSCIOUSNESS thread is anchored in the HEAD or Brain. The medical definition of “death” is when the heart stops beating. If we expand on this concept then we shall arrive at the esoteric teaching that everyone has a specific allocation of heartbeats. There is of course, much ancient Indian writings on this subject which includes the concept of Kundalini, whose “job” in each individual’s life is to count each breath, pulse and heartbeat. When the body’s pre-allocation is met, the heart stops and since the Heart Chakra is under the control of Rudra, who later became Shiva (The Destroyer) and who represents the essence of the catabolic function in nature, then one’s time is complete.
We each burn personal time at a different rate and Death is seen as fully pre-programmed at birth without regard to cause. The heart muscle pumps every second and with the end of our life it has been beating 2-3 million times. And for every heartbeat there is pumped 70 ml. blood out of one half of the heart, and this means that every minute there flows nearly 5 liters of blood out into the body. Simultaneously, the heart’s pump action can get the blood to circulate six times around 30 liters per minute. This phenomenon is quite normal among sports athletes.
So, to figure out his “burn rate”, to determine how much time one has been allotted by calculating the amount of heartbeats during the lifetime, is a most intriguing method – and there are astrological calculations that seek to attempt this research.
Well, here is another thought for consideration. Heartbeats, pulses and the number of breaths. We know that the heart and breathing are intimately linked. Our breathing-in of the life force or Prana, produces a corresponding action from the heart. Perhaps we could say that life is not just measured by the number of breaths we take – but by the moments that take our breath away.

The effort to isolate the old in their own institutions & communities shows a belief that they have little to teach the rest of us and reflects a desire to decrease our interactions with them.
Then there is the fight against the physical signs of advancing age that fuels a multi-billions a year cosmetic industry that dwarfs in size other national priorities such as education or even national defense. The rise of plastic surgery, potentially disfiguring injections of boxtox (botulinum toxin) and a
preoccupation with wrinkles & hair loss all suggest that the normal process of aging evokes in most people a level of fear bordering on panic.
What we fear is our own demise, and indications of aging are simply unwanted reminders of our mortality. By rejecting old people and the signs of age in ourselves we are simply reacting to a natural fear of extinction that has preoccupied human being forever.
Experiment with Senior citizens & young ones
Here is a really positive example of a totally new way of thinking. It comes from Alberta, Canada and an experiment that enables senior citizens and kids to play together in a pilot project.
The program was designed to help older people avoid feeling isolated. It embraces the mantra, “You are only as young as you feel”, as it pairs seniors with preschoolers with the goal of benefiting both groups.
In a room, young & old play freeze tag, take part in arts & crafts, and team up for a senior’s favourite, bingo. Many of the seniors live at home, but have caretakers to help them deal with physical issues, including Alzheimer’s disease or forms of dementia. The kids are volunteered by their parents. In one example, a man of 81 years teamed up with a 6-year old for the day. As the two fill in a colouring book with pencil crayons, the inquisitive girls asks him how old he is and what he does to keep busy. The older man enjoys the dialogue with young ones and the young ones enjoy their interaction with the older one, stimulating various positive emotions of belonging for them both.
This news was posted in February 2023 and since then there has been a lots of positive feedback to this pilot project.
I am of the opinion that the old have a duty to suffer the losses of age with as much grace and determination as they can muster and to avoid inflicting their discomforts on those who love them. One reason for our fear of aging is that those who have gone before us have, in general, set a poor example. It is the primary task of parents throughout their lives to convey to the young a sense of optimism. Like all the values we wish to teach our children, the supreme importance of hope can only be taught by example.
Let’s debunk negative age stereotypes – 12 Examples
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: The saying “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” applies to older people’s inability to learn.
FACT: There are many positive cognitive changes in older age and there are many techniques to support lifelong learning. Our brains experience new growth of neutrons in response to challenges throughout the life span.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: All older persons experience dementia.
FACT: Dementia is not a normal part of aging. Most older persons do not experience dementia. Around 4% of adults in the USA aged 65-75 have dementia.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Older person’s health is entirely determined by biology.
FACT: Culture, in the form of age beliefs, can have a powerful influence on the health of older persons. For instance, positive age beliefs can benefit the health in multiple ways, such as reducing stress and improving memory. In contrast, negative age beliefs can have a detrimental impact on health.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Older persons are fragile, so they should avoid exercise.
FACT: Most older persons can exercise without injury. The World Health Organization recommends that older persons regularly exercise because this can benefit cardiovascular and mental health, as well as lead to stronger bones and muscles.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Most older people suffer from mental illness that can’t be treated.
FACT: Most older people do not suffer from mental illness. Studies show that often happiness increases, whereas depression, anxiety & substance abuse decline in later life. Further, older persons usually benefit from mental health treatment including psychotherapy.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Older workers aren’t effective in the workplace.
FACT: Older workers take fewer days off for sickness, benefit from experience, have strong work ethics and are often innovative. Teams that include older persons have bee found to be more effective than teams that do not.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Older persons are selfish and don’t contribute to society.
FACT: Older persons often work or volunteer in positions that allow them to
make meaningful contributions to society. They are the age-group that is
most likely to recycle and make philanthropic gifts. In older age, altruistic
motivations become stronger, while narcissistic values wane in influence.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Older persons are bad drivers.
FACT: The absolute number of crashes involving older drivers is low. They are more likely to use seat belts, follow speed limits, and are also less likely to drive while texting on the mobile, while intoxicated or at night.
FALSE AGE STEROTYPE: Older persons don’t have sex.
FACT: Most older persons continue to enjoy a physically and emotionally fulfilling sex life. A survey found that 72% of older adults have a romantic partner and most of them are sexually active.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Older persons lack creativity.
FACT: Creativity often continues and even increases in later life. Numerous artists, eg. Henri Matisse, are credited with producing innovative works at an older age. Successful start-ups are more likely to be run by entrepreneurs over 50 than under 30. Older persons are often leaders in innovation and use it to revitalize communities.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Older persons are technologically challenged.
FACT: Older persons possess the ability to adapt to, learn and invent new
Knowledge. Studies in USA show ¾’s of those 50 and older use social media on a regular basis; 67% of those 65 and older use the internet and 81% aged 60 to 69 use smartphones.
FALSE AGE STEREOTYPE: Older persons don’t benefit from healthy behaviours.
FACT: It is never too late to benefit from healthy behaviours. Example, older persons who quit smoking show improvement to their lug health within a few months. Similarly, older persons who overcome obesity show improvement to cardiovascular health.
These are 12 examples of FALSE AGE STEREOTYPES and the real FACTS. There could be many more false assumptions to debunk.
Master your Time & your Life
In our stressed and often overloaded world, your effectiveness is rapidly diminished. The solution is simple – Take control of the time frame you are focusing upon.
If the present is stressful, then become more resourceful in dealing with your challenges by focusing on the future and the successful completion or resolution of the tasks before you. This is a very Saturn characteristic. This new focus will instantly change your state and give you the very resources you need to turn things around in the present.
Stress is so often the result of feeling “stuck” in a particular time frame.
So often we forget that TIME IS A MENTAL CONSTRUCT, that it is completely relative, and that our experiences of time is almost exclusively the result of our mental focus.
How long is a long time? It all depends upon the situation doesn’t it? Standing in-line for more than 10 minutes can seem like an eternity while an hour of making love can pass all too quickly.
Our beliefs also filter our perception of time. For some people regardless of the situation, 20 minutes is a lifetime, for others a long time is a century.
This is why TIME MASTERY is a life skill. And who is the Master of Time? The Lord of time himself – the planet Saturn.
The ability to flex your experience of time is the ability to shape your experience of life:
Change time frames by changing your focus.
Focus upon something enjoyable, and you make fewer measurements of it. Being totally involved in something you no longer focus upon the time.
If you do complete all your urgent and demanding tasks but you didn’t do what was important, the things that would make a difference in the long term, then you are unsatisfied.
We can never truly master time as long as our primary strategy for learning and mastering our world is based upon trial and error. Modelling those who have already succeeded can save you years of pain.

A new historical Time Line – reworking the History of the World
The British writer & researcher Graham Hancock has been persistently active in challenging the archeological community of die-hard academics to adjust their traditional time lines and acknowledge the stunning new revelations about our past history – and especially pre-Flood civilizations.
Now although this is a Newsletter and not a book, let us point to just a few examples of this historical rewriting of our history books.
Göbekli Tepi – Temple complex in Turkey
And where better to start that the amazing Gobekli Tepi temple complex in south-eastern Anatolia,Turkey which has been dated to 11,500 BC and marks the end of the last Ice Age and the dawn of civilization. It is the world’s oldest known megalithic site and is now under UNESCO World Heritage. In fact, it is the world’s first Temple, predating Stonehenge in southern England by at least 6000 years! The site predates the era of Sumer, considered one of the earliest true civilizations, and the invention of writing. This stunning site upends all conventional views of the rise of civilization.
The manpower, engineering & project managing required for such an endeavour all seem unfeasible, given where human civilization was understood to be at the time. Its very existence has forced archaeologists to rethink the dawn of civilization.
When you see this property, note the large circular structures supported by massive stone pillars – it is a monumental round-oval and rectangular megalithic structure erected by “hunter-gatherers” in the Neolithic Age – or was it? Hunter gatherers using stone & copper tools to produce this?
Many of the pillars are richly decorated with animal figures and geometric shapes. These images are incredibly ancient and nothing like them exists anywhere else on the planet. The debate continues as to what culture produced such a magnificent structure – yet when it was accidently discovered in the 1960s, it was totally covered and buried deep in layers of sand & earth, clearly indicating that this was done intentionally prior the Great Flood and lay waiting for us modern humanity to re-discover it. Yet it was not until 1994 that the site was “rediscovered” and serious work truly began on the site.
Well, since its discovery researchers have extended their search in all directions and have unearthed a vast complex of similar structures dotted around the landscape, so now there exists 10-12 megalithic structures spread over the entire area. This clearly illustrates how significant this part of the world must have been to the population that lived in this part of Turkey – and probably beyond.
We may, unfortunately, never know who the brilliant minds behind Göbekli Tepi actually were, but the entire complex practically begs for further archaeological study and continues to rewrite the time line to what we believe is our planetary history.
If we stay for a moment with Turkey, how about these fantastic rock dwellings which could easily house 50-100,000 inhabitants underground. Conventional history states that these buildings were created by Christians of the new religion who desired both isolation and safety from the world of barbarians all around them in the centuries after the crucifixion of the Christ. It would be more correct to state that evidence exists that the Christian used such sites, but they were not the builders. These are very ancient dwellings – and the technology that created them is clearly very advanced.
The city of Caral in northern Peru
The ancient site of Caral in Peru is evidence of the oldest complex in the Americas dated to about 4,500 years BC.
This site also raises the all-important question why historians continue to focus on the development of civilisation as being a Middle East phenomena.
Most people viewing the pyramid structures, and the dating, will see lots of similarities between Egypt and Peru. This provides further evidence that it was the same Teachers going around the planet and assisting the already existing populations of those regions to expand & accelerate their cultures.
The God Viracocha – often called “the Staff God” because he is depicted holding two such staffs in both hands - was the primary God of South America. His image & imprint on the ancient cities of South America is very apparent. It is clearly possible to see this same archetype depicted in the gods of other countries, yet obviously this is another research project.
Then in pre-Columbian culture we can find two parallel lines carved in rock etched on the top of a Bolivian pyramid site. This is very similar to petrified tracks found both in Turkey, the island of Malta and sites in North America. These tracks look like a modern car has made the ruts, but such deep tracks would have been made by heavy transport. These type of tracks have been dated to 12-14 million years ago. As expected, conventional historians have no answer and prefer to ignore the subject altogether.
But they cannot ignore the famous Nazca lines located in southern Peru, which are a group of geoglyphs made in the soil of the Nazca desert, created according to academic historians between 500 BC and 500 AD.

About 250 miles (400 kilometres) south of Peru’s capital Lima we shall find these lines drawn in geometric patterns and distinct animal shapes across the Peruvian desert.
Apart from the beauty and great mystery of these images in the landscape, it become quite obvious that these lines can only be fully appreciated from the air. This has quite rightly, given speculation as to the primary purpose of their creation as “landing zones” for space visitors from distant stars.
There are about 20 of these images and today I am showing you just 3 of them. The image below has been called “The Astronaut” for quite obvious reasons. Could this figure be waving to the heavens – a tribute to God or alien visitors?
The Bosnian Pyramid
The Bosnian Pyramid has created an international sensation in the last two decades. It was long presumed to be a natural formation in the landscape, so when it was highlighted as a man-built structure, the archaeological community closed ranks and dismissed it as a “cruel hoax”. Pyramids in Europe? Not possible we were informed.
Well, in the last two decades pyramids have been discovered all around the world, in China, Africa, North & South America and throughout Asia. In fact, they have also been revealed on Antarctica, as the frozen ice melts, and upon the planet Mars. So why not the continent of Europe?
The Bosnian Pyramid has a height of 722 feet compared with the Great Pyramid at Giza, which stands at 450 feet.
But alternative researchers continued their investigations – and they discovered a complex network of underground tunnels with ancient masonry that was carbon dated to no less than 32,000 years old!
Yes, you read that correct – 32 thousand years old. Modern archeology tells us that the Egyptian Pyramids at Giza are approximately 3,500 years old.
History is being rewritten and the time line is being extended beyond what most people can imagine – to a time before the Great Flood when advanced civilizations were already well established on our planet Earth.
We have not included in this whirlwind survey of pre-Flood cultures the amazing megalithic structures found under the waters, such as off the coast of India or the Bahamas or various sites dotted around Asia - but this must be another time. I have always been drawn to archeology and the ancient world and as a student I had to choose going to University to study Archeology & the past, or to Art college. Art won, but I have maintained a vibrant contact to extract meaning from our past history ever since.
And Egypt has always held a supreme presence and guiding influence in my life. To me it isn’t ancient Egypt, but Eternal Egypt, because the lessons learnt by the Egyptians about life could be applied to our own generations. Spiritual truths are Eternal, ever present.
Now we are talking about Egypt we could start investigating the age of the Pyramids or the Sphinx – but instead I would like to draw your attention to the “King’s List” at the Temple of Abydos. This is the Temple dedicated to the most ancient King of Egypt, it’s founding Father, Osiris. It is here we find a listing of all the Rulers of Egypt since the beginning of time. On a wall of the Temple is a list of 76 Kings of ancient Egypt.
This lists omits the names of some earlier Pharaohs who were apparently considered illegitimate, such as the “heretic” Akhenaten, his son Tutankhamen and others. The list from the 19th. Dynasty includes their names and the length of their reign as kings.
The known historical period of ancient Egypt appears to have begun some 5000 years ago with what is called the Unification of the Two Kingdoms of Upper & Lower Egypt, North & South Kingdoms. This unification was achieved under the leadership of a Pharaoh known as Menes. From this unification the whole historical period of Ancient Egypt is dated, and its marvellous civilization unfolded over the course of 2000 years – or 3000 years if one includes the foreign rulership by Nubians, Persians and finally the Greek Ptolemies and Romans. In terms of known history, it is the longest lasting and probably greatest civilization of man on record, although it is possible that there have been other comparable or greater civilisations that we at present have no knowledge of. By comparison, the Roman civilisation that so much has been written about appears minor.
The ancient Egyptian civilisation appeared on the scene, fully grown, totally mature, around 3-4000 years ago.
Quite remarkably it appeared fully developed in the sense that it seemingly possessed all the knowledges and organisational structures that were to guide and govern its civilisation step by step over the centuries. This fact suggests quite clearly that either there had been a long evolutionary period of growth preceding the historic Pharaonic civilisation, or the plan of civilisation were imported into the Nile Valley from another part of the world where it had been developing and then imposed upon the aboriginal tribes of the Nile Valley.
To date, archaeological findings have not been able to help much in determining the predynastic history of Ancient Egypt, although they do indicate that a high degree of culture & craftsmanship did exist before the days of Menes.
Sacred or esoteric tradition however, gives another account of what took place. According to Egyptian tradition, there were initially 10 Divine Dynasties, the Reign of the Gods.
These “Gods” or Neters in Egyptian, should be understood as being divine creative principles and archetypes, equivalent to the 10 Spheres or Sephiroth of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. These 10 Divine Dynasties form a spiritual “Tree of Life”, a divine idea that brought life and civilisation into being on Earth.
We are now entering some of the sacred Temple Mysteries of the Ancient Egyptians. This Tree or thought-form of Light is the Archetype of all temples.
The Ten Divine Dynasties of Egypt constitute the archetypal Wisdom or Light that brought Egypt into manifestation..
The Ten Divine Dynasties were followed by the Thirty Dynasties of the Sages.
It is with these Dynasties that we reach a “historical” period of life in Egypt. The Teacher-Gods or archetypal principles, began to manifest & mould matter in order to express their spiritual laws and forms of being.
The first of these Dynasties is said to have begun about 42,000 years ago. Their total duration gives a figure 36,620 years. Tradition states that these Thirty Dynasties of Sages were grouped into three principal groups, the first two groups existing for approximately 23,200 years and the last group for 13,420 years.Then, and only then, does the known historical period of Ancient Egypt actually begin – and it begins with the so-called Unification of Egypt.
What should be realised from the start is that the Ancient Egyptian civilisation was no accident, no chance happening, no gradual evolution from an initial primitive state to a complex final state.
It was a carefully planned and guided from the start to the finish, from generation to generation, an inner council of Egyptian Sages – the prophets or highest evolved initiates of the land, who knew the Plan and were Guardians of it, and responsible for seeing that this Plan was carried out as well as possible. The conscious and deliberate observance of Divine Law, as understood by the Egyptian, is the key to their whole civilisation. Not only did the Egyptians see this truth in terms of the individual, but they also perceived a whole nation to be but a larger expression of the same Archetype.
They clearly recognised that such a Temple exists in terms of time & space.
That is to say, a life form that is built out of matter has a spatial organisation & existence, and at the same time it has a period of life from its birth to its death/dissolution. In the Kabbalistic Tree of Life diagram, TIME is related to the Pillar of Force (Right or Masculine), and SPACE to the Pillar of Form (Left or Feminine). One gives meaning & purpose to the life form, while the other enables that purpose to be fulfilled.
There are 3 Pillars that form the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The Middle Pillar is that of Equilibrium or Synthesis, combining the contributions of the Right & Left Pillars. As this is a Newsletter, and as we are in the Summer edition, I will approach this from another angle.

The zodiacal sign of Cancer is governed by the Moon; Leo by the Sun and the next sign Virgo, ruled by the planet Mercury. During our Summer Quarter, these three zodiacal signs get activated. We should look at this trinity representing Mother (Moon), Father (Sun) and their Child (Mercury). Such a relationship dominates the alchemical pictures of the Renaissance period. This whole truth is summed up in the ancient symbol for Man – the symbol for Mercury.
Above is the symbol for Mercury, the Teacher of Humanity. This symbol portrays the archetypal design of any Temple or living Soul. For the Greeks it was Hermes,“Three Times Great”, for the Egyptians it was Thoth and for the Celtic civilisation that stretched all over Europe, it was Merlyn, the great Magician.
Note in the center is the solar symbol, the circle with a dot in the middle, signifying the heart of love which emanates its love (or heart-desire) as radiant, life-giving light. Above this Sun symbol is the lunar emblem – the crescent Moon set as a cup or receptacle. This is to signify the head and mind that receives the love-light, reflects it as an image or vision, and then reflects or meditates upon this vision in order to comprehend it.
Below the Sun symbol lies the earthly emblem of the 4 Elements – the equal armed cross. This signifies the elemental realm of matter in which and by means of which, the thought concerning the love-light is put into action and final expression.
Or to put it very simply, LOVING THOUGHTS EXPRESSED IN SERVICE.
This was the essence of all Temple work. The Body, the Soul and the Spirit in dynamic flow and cooperation.
As you enter any Egyptian Temple, there in the beginning will be found a special area dedicated to the main God (Father), his female counterpart (Mother) & their Divine offspring (Child). Working with this Divine Trinity was clearly not a Christian invention, but a Universal teaching. In these sacred chapels we would find their statues, often sitting in a boat or barque, a statue that was utilised during ceremonies and public festivities, carried by the priests along the banks of the Nile, where the general public could get a glimpse of divinity.
A final reference to the fantastic symbol of Mercury. This time I wish to illustrate that time is a brain conditioned event. Time is plastic – it can be stretched – and that is where consciousness, self-awareness is the key.
Look again at the symbol – and now reflect on these measurements.
The Moon revolves once around the 12 zodiac signs each month.
The Sun revolves once around the 12 zodiac sign each year.
And the Earth itself – symbolized by the equal-armed cross – turns on its own axis once every 24 hours i.e. each day.
And how would you apply those reflections to this Summer period, a 3-month phase that gets repeated every year?
How do we activate and nurture our inner child to explore and play?
Two Full Moons in August 2023
Well, consider this astrological and astronomical fact. There will be two Full Moons in the month of August this year. Look at the spiritual opportunity that is presented to us because of these events – increased Light!
For the ancient world of the Egyptians, this was a period of “dog days”, the heat of the summer and the high-point of the flooding of the Nile river, generously spreading its fertility over the land, a reenactment of the Creation myth.
A Full Moon is where the Sun & Moon are in opposition aspect, with the Earth in the middle. It is a dynamic time of climax and culmination. The first one takes place August 1st. at 9-degrees Leo-Aquarius axis, and the second Full Moon, August 31st. at 7½-degrees Virgo-Pisces axis.
Enjoy being bathed in increased light & livingness!

Yes, the 15th. Letter is the Letter “O” – which is a circle, a symbol for wholeness, completion and Eternity.
The Hebrew word “Ayin” is connected to this vibration, number 15 and means both “Eye” or “I” and Nothing or No-Thing or Zero. And if it is no-thing, then it is a statement of Spirit.
Why then, each month does the full Moon line of energies culminate on the 15th. day after the New Moon?
The monthly Full Moon, Sun & Moon in opposition aspect to each other, is a time of great light upon our planet – great light in the darkness of night time. And Gates open that enable our consciousness and that of planet Earth itself, to become bathed in cosmic energies emanating from the zodiacal constellations.
So this culminating 15th. day after the start of a new cycle with the event of the New Moon, is the day in each month when there is more Light on our planet than any other day – and this is the vibration 15.
What may be curious for many readers to realize is that this can therefore be linked to Key 15 in the Tarot sequence – The Devil – the Tarot card governed by the sign Capricorn & the planet Saturn.
These are mysteries indeed – and to interpret this like so many other mysteries correctly, we need training in opening our Eye (“I”) of Light.
