Dive into the deep and enchanting universe of astrology with a focus on love, connection and the inner evolutionary path we walk together with others. Over 8 Wednesdays, the experienced astrologer and psychotherapist Derek R. Seagrief guides you into understanding relationships through astrology’s symbolic language. Each lesson opens a doorway to new insight and practical wisdom.
Lesson 1: Introduction – Through the Mirror
Every relationship carries a purpose and an invitation for growth. Sometimes the learning takes time to become visible, yet astrology can illuminate the dynamics from the beginning.
Lesson 2: The 7th House
The ruler of the Descendant and the planets in the 7th house reveal what we seek in a partner, but also which parts of ourselves we must confront and integrate through relationships.
Lesson 3: Venus and Mars
Venus and Mars show how we relate emotionally and sexually. When they are in conflict, inner frustration often arises. We include Jung’s concepts of anima and animus as well as the role of the four elements in the balance between Venus and Mars.
Lesson 4: Element Balance
Relationships are a mutual exchange of resources that support growth. We explore which elements are dominant or lacking, and how relationships become catalysts for healing and wholeness.
Lesson 5: The Art of Synastry – Part 1
Synastry is the art of comparing two birth charts to understand attraction, conflict and harmony. We examine inter-aspects, repeating patterns and how certain planets – such as Jupiter and Saturn – influence the dynamic.
Lesson 6: The Art of Synastry – Part 2
We go deeper with examples and the finer nuances of energetic exchanges between partners.
Lesson 7: The Composite Chart
Here we create a shared chart for the relationship itself. While synastry reveals attraction, the composite chart shows long-term development. We study examples from famous couples and participants.
Lesson 8: Wholeness and Synthesis
In the final lesson you learn how to weave everything together: the Vertex, the first meeting chart, wedding charts – and how to integrate all techniques into a complete understanding.
About the Teacher
Derek R. Seagrief has more than 40 years of experience in couples work and astrology. He has run a 2-year astrology school, written 13 books, and contributed to numerous articles in Scandinavia and internationally. He also works as a psychotherapist and couples therapist with a background in Jungian psychology and psychosynthesis.

The teaching takes you into the heart of the symbols. You learn how the archetypes of tarot exist inside the horoscope, how planets and houses meet the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana, and how each card can unlock new layers in an astrological interpretation. Your intuition becomes sharper and your technical overview expands so you can work faster and deeper with both tarot and astrology in readings for yourself and others.
The course is practical and experiential, not theory for the sake of theory. Each lesson includes concrete tools, visualisations, exercises and case studies. After the course, your readings will be significantly more alive, accurate and intuitive regardless of whether your background is in astrology or tarot.

This course is for those who dare to step into the deepest layers of astrology. For those who feel that life is not only about the here and now but about the soul’s journey through incarnations. Entry & Exit is a journey into the spiritual perspective of arrival and departure. What happens when we enter life and what happens when we leave it. And why.

You will learn to read both your birth chart and your death chart as two sides of the same developmental trajectory. Birth as beginning. Death as beginning. The course opens the door to understanding the astrological markers that show how one leaves the physical plane and how evolution continues on the inner planes. Here we examine the planetary signatures of exit: Saturnian exit, Uranian exit, Pluto exit, and what they reveal about the soul’s maturity and karmic journey.
The course combines astrological techniques, the study of both well-known and lesser-known charts around the moment of transition, and insights into the so-called Bardo states between lives. We also work with guided visualisations focused on healing fear of death, taboos, and existential anxiety.
